Panasonic P55 Max With ‘ZigPlay’ Feature Launched in India For Rs 8,499

Panasonic seems to be on a roll these days. A month after it showed off the Eluga I3 Mega with a full metal body, a new device has now been announced in India. The new Panasonic P55 Max will have a splendid 5000mAh battery and has been launched in India at Rs 8,499. It is a Flipkart-exclusive product and will come in Matte Black and Gold color variants.

Panasonic P55 Max Specs and Features

The Panasonic P55 Max is a very decent device, given the price range. It will have a 5.5-inch HD IPS display which will have a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. On the back is a great-to-touch textured finish as well. The device will be powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6737 processor. Also aboard will be a handy 3GB of RAM which will be coupled with  16GB of internal storage. This native storage capacity will also be expandable to up to 128GB via a dedicated micro SD card slot.

The P55 Max will have a 13-megapixel rear camera equipped with Quad LED flash as well as a 5-megapixel front camera for decent selfies and video calling. The new Panasonic device will run on the latest Android Nougat 7.0 operating system and will easily sail through one or two days of heavy storage on a single charge.

The Mobile Indian reports that a new feature is also in the offering. Called ZigPlay, this feature will be received via over-the-air or as an OTA update. Panasonic claims that this new feature “Keeps all your priorities at your fingertips with simple to use profiles and keeps you connected on the go at home, in the car, at work and anywhere you go.”

Other connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE support, dual-SIM support, as well as Bluetooth 4.0. At only 180 grams and with dimensions of 152 x 72.6 x 8.7mm, it seems that the Panasonic P55 Max will be ideal for single-handed use as well.
