Panasonic has been on a slightly upward-looking roll lately as it releases phone after smartphone to recapture a latent market. The latest entry into a longish series seems to be the all-metal Eluga I3 Mega, which will boast of a very powerful and a very potent quad-core CPU. Panasonic’s latest smartphone seems to be a mixture of mid-level specs and some premium material and perhaps the most elegant touch is the metal touch to the body.
Besides the metal used for the body and other features of the phone itself, the Panasonic Eluga I3 Mega also comes fully loaded including a 5.5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display. Under the hood is a MediaTek 6735 processor. However, thanks largely to the phone body material, Panasonic may now be in a position where it can pass off a premium design without the pitfalls of a premium price tag, which should make this phone more easily available to the general public as well.to the general public who isn’t all that concerned with the most powerful hardware on a mobile device. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and while the RAM is about equal with other mid-range smartphones, 16GB of internal storage space is pretty low for a smartphone these days even at the level of the market that the Eluga I3 Mega is targeting. Luckily, expandable storage is supported with the use of a micro SD card if more than 16GB is needed.
The specs and features on the new Panasonic Eluga I3 Mega should also satisfy even the choosiest of buyers. This Panasonic device will ship with a rather handsome 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. While the RAM is nearly equal to what the mid-range smartphones offer traditionally, a 16GB of internal storage space is pretty low for a smartphone these days, we must admit. However, even at this level, the Panasonic Eluga I3 Mega is targeting bigger and expanding user base. Of course, you can always make use of the MicroSD card slot if you need space of more than 16GB is needed.
Other specs and features will also feature a lot of decent, if not outstanding, features. With a 4,000mAh battery, a 13-megapixel camera on the rear end of the device and a 5-megapixel snapper on the front, this Panasonic device will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Expect the all-new Panasonic Eluga I3 Mega to arrive in two different colors: champagne gold and silver. Some older features, however, remain. This device will still support USB 2.0 and it doesn’t mention anything about Quick Charge 3.0 support either.
