South-Korean tech conglomerate, Samsung has finally released its Galaxy A7 (2017) variant with Bixby support in its home country. Initially, this high-end smartphone was launched on January 2 this year, across several markets around the globe. With an inclusion of Bixby, Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) has now been launched in South Korea today via SK Telecom (one of the finest mobile carriers of the country).
Kim Sung-soo, the head of SK Telecom stated, “We are launching the Galaxy A7 because of the increasing number of customers who want to take advantage of the smartphone features and reasonable price.” However, other hosts of features remain constant with the new launch in South Korea.
Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) is particularly the first smartphone in the ‘A’ series to debut with the support of Samsung’s artificial voice activated assistant, Bixby. Other features available in the new beast are fingerprint sensor (front-mounted) alongside IP68 rating that makes the device a dustproof and waterproof one.
In the optical aspects, Galaxy A7 (2017) sports 16 MP along with aperture of f/1.9. Other imaging features include the autofocus as well as LED flash. The secondary camera sports a selfie shooter of 16 MP and aperture of f/1.9. A7 devs along with Geo-tagging, face detection, touch focus as well as panorama.
The handset is shipped with Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) and is powered by octa-core Exynos 7880 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz. In the display language, the handset sports the Super AMOLED full-HD display of 5.7-inch screen size, 3GB RAM and an expandable internal storage of 32GB under the hood.
Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) is available for fans in various colors – Black Sky, Blue Mist, Gold Sand, and Peach Cloud. In terms of battery, the handset is backed by a non-removable Li-Ion 3600 mAh battery. As for the pricing aspect, the factory price of the handset is 588,500 won (i.e. approx $514).
