Samsung Galaxy S8 Active Image Leaked on Amazon

South Korean tech company Samsung has managed to be a standout smartphone maker in manufacturing devices like the Galaxy S8 that impressed fans with flying colors. Reportedly, the rumor mills suggested that the tech giant might launch its ‘Active’ version. And now the same device has popped up on Amazon today with a render supposedly being a part of a screen protection campaign.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Active’s Render Leaked

The image of the Galaxy S8 Active, sporting thin bezels, was leaked by a company named OTOMON which manufactures screen protectors. But in marketing its product, the render gives us a good look at the device itself. In comparison to Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Active’s side bezels are thicker with non-curved display sides, which is a thing to be noted. In the render, we only get to witness the front panel of the smartphone. On the right, the presence of the power lock key is quite apparent. One can easily locate the volume up, volume down and Bixby buttons located on Galaxy S8 Active’s left-hand side.

Over past few weeks, Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has been in the news several times, and said to be available exclusively from AT&T in the United States. Initially, Samsung Galaxy S8 Active was spotted on Geekbench earlier in June, scoring 1824 points in the single-core testing alongside the multi-core test reveals the smartphone to score 6394 points. Besides scores, Galaxy S8 Active is expected to be powered by a 4,000 mAh battery alongside sporting the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. With the pre-installed Android 7.0 Nougat, Galaxy S8 Active will feature the 5.8-inch ‘Infinity Display’ along with 4 GB of RAM.

From the imaging perspective, Galaxy S8 Active will come with a rear camera of  12 MP. The product listing reveals to possible buyers that the screen protector may begin shipping from August 1, so we expect this FCC certified device to be launched shortly. Till then, here’s waiting for Samsung to pull the trigger as fast as possible.
