The coral blue Samsung Galaxy S8 variant is set to arrive in the United States on July 21. Many users have been waiting for the coral blue model to arrive. The device will be made available on both Best Buy and Samsung.com. Besides the new addition, the Galaxy S8 and the S8+ also come in color options of Midnight Black, Arctic Silver, and Orchid Gray.
For the time being, the device will be available in both unlocked as well as carrier variants from Best Buy, while Samsung will only sell the unlocked variants. Some time ago, the Orchid Gray variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8 was released in India.
According to a report in GSMArena, there will be a couple of initial offers on the new color variant. While Best Buy will offer “up to $400 off the retail price of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ with a qualified purchase or activation,” manufacturer Samsung “will also feature a limited time promotion of $150 off the retail price for both the Coral Blue and Midnight black versions of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.”
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the most powerful devices to have launched this year. It comes with a 5.8-inch display for the traditional model, while the one with a bigger, 6.2-inch display is called the Galaxy S8+. With the Infinity Display on board, the device size will not increase physically but the display will seem bigger. With Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and the rear end of the device, the protection levels will also be good.
Earlier, there were talks of a Samsung Galaxy S8 Mini being on the cards as well, but it now seems that the plan has ended up being scrapped.
