Xiaomi is in the headlines yet again. And this time there is no mystery in it. It is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 which has been spotted online. The new smartphone is the successor of the much popular mid-range smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 which has impressed the users as well as the experts since its arrival in the market.
The latest leaks which have surfaced have revealed that the smartphone is going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset under the hood. This is a clear upgrade from what it has been in its predecessor. So that ensures a better performance on behalf of the new smartphone in the Redmi Note series from Xiaomi. On the basis of storage, a couple of variants of the smartphone will be available after it gets launched. One will have a 3 GB RAM coupled with 32 GB internal storage while the other one will have a 4 GB RAM coupled with 64 GB internal storage. Another variant with a 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage will also be available.
The camera of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is also expected to be equipped with a powerful camera as well. The rear camera is expected to have a 16-megapixel lens on the back while the front camera is going to have a 13-megapixel lens. The rear camera is going to be assisted by a number of photography-enhancing features which will definitely make things much easier for a user to click good photographs.
Other than these, the smartphone will also have a number of additional features. It will come equipped with connectivity features like X12 LTE, Bluetooth 5, and USB Type-C 3.1. The device will be backed up by a 3,790 mAh battery which will be powered by Quick Charge 4 technology.
The price tags of the different variants of the smartphone will range from $200 to $220. And it is expected that Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will hit the shelves in the latter part of the running month. Hence, we need to wait for a little bit in order to get an official update on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. Also, the fans are waiting for the launch of a two other device – The Xiaomi Riva and the Xiaomi Jason. In fact, there are a lot of things that need to be cleared and for that, we need to keep our eyes on Xiaomi.
