Amidst all assumptions, Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 has long been into the rumor world since fans got their hands on the first look of the devices. The rumor mill is right now hyped up due to another leak of the upcoming devices. It is no secret, what Blass leaks, immediately produces right noises in the rumor mill. And a similar thing happened prior to a couple of hours today.
Evan Blass, the eminent leakster has come up with a post on his Twitter account stating, “Google’s second-generation Pixel handsets, powered by Snapdragon 836 SoC’s, will be unveiled on October 5th.” We have no clue whether this news can stand up with prominence, but as per his claims, fans may get their hands on the much-anticipated t Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 from the first half of October.
One can take a note on his tweet that highlights the second generation Pixel devices to run on SD 836 SoC. These days most of the top-end smartphones are powered by Snapdragon 835 processors. But with the new Snapdragon 836 SoC, there will definitely be more improvements.
As per earlier leaks, Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 may not feature 3.5 mm headphone or dual optics set up. However, it may proportionally have a direct impact on its sales number, but we expect few high-end specs to arrive with the smartphones.
Previously, the smartphones were leaked by Blass which showed the device to sport a wide bezel. Although certain leaks of the handsets suggested (like the one mentioned here) the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 to feature a sleeker design.
As per certain reports, the smartphones are speculated to debut with 145.3 x 69.3 x 7.8 mm alongside extra thickness of 0.4 mm (at the camera module). We need to wait for further updates about the handsets as no other specific features are known right now. So stay tuned for more news about Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel XL 2.
