Google’s original Pixel was unveiled a year ago and was immensely popular among its buyers. Now Pixel users are moving on and anticipating about its next generation smartphones dubbed Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, as of now. Today, leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks), indicated the design specs of Google’s second generation smartphone. The leaked renders show cutting-edge specs with an inclusion of an updated design to come with the upcoming handsets, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. As per the leaked images, they also depict some major aspects of the devices which are scheduled to launch later in 2017 itself.
The teased renders of the smartphones hint us that the design doesn’t seem to be different from the last iteration of Google’s Pixel smartphone concerning its appearance. Going parallel to Google’s design language, the images tease the devices to feature an unmistakable two-piece back plate alongside a circular rear fingerprint scanner. New additions also include features like front-firing stereo speakers along with a new camera.
A number of attempts took part in the recent days with information about the possible specs of the second generation smartphones of Google. Render wise, some were highly satisfactory, while other leaks traveled at an opposite direction. However, this information seems to be quite valid that Google Pixel 2 might sport the Snapdragon 836 Processor. While last year the 835 chipset promised to be an incremental improvement, this year the 836 might come as a successor to the previous one.
As per earlier speculations, the XL variant, sporting a larger display size, may roll out with a dual camera feature. But this is certainly not the ultimate for Google Pixel 2 XL. Reports now suggest that you may expect the smartphone to unveil with a single lens instead. Pixel 2 is envisioned to be 145.3 x 69.3 x 7.8 mm, with extra thickness of 0.4 mm at the camera module.
