Meizu M6 Note Gets Leaked on Geekbench Just Two Days Ahead of the Official Launch

The Chinese smartphone maker Meizu is all set to launch their new smartphone M6 Note in a couple of days time. But before the much-anticipated device gets unveiled, Meizu M6 Note has been spotted on the Geekbench, a cross-platform processor benchmark website, revealing key specifications of the upcoming handset.

Meizu has arranged an inaugural event on 23rd August at the Beijing Performing Arts Center in China at 11 AM to launch the hotly-awaited M6 Note. But before the device becomes official, Geekbench has shed lights on the probable features and specifications of Meizu M6 Note. According to the benchmark site, the forthcoming handset will be powered by an octa-core chipset clocked at 2.0GHz, most likely the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. Not only that, earlier, the experts were speculating the smartphone to feature a MediaTek Helio P25 processor. So now we can assume that M6 Note will be available in two different variants-one to feature a Snapdragon processor and the other to come with a MediaTek chipset.

The benchmark site also hinted that there will be two versions of the phone depending on the storage capacity of the device. The premium model of the Meizu M6 Note will feature a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage capacity. Whereas the basic model will only come with a 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of native storage capacity.

Apart from that, the M6 Note is tipped to flaunt a 5.5 inch IPS LCD full HD screen with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. On the optics front, the device is pegged to come with a dual-camera setup at the back with at least one of the sensors will be a Sony IMX 258 sensor and of 13-megapixel. The handset is pegged to be backed by a 4000 mAh battery unit and will run on Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system straight out of the box. The phone secured 4215 points in the multi-core test and scored 848 points in the single-core test at the Geekbench testing.

Another rumor surfaced at the Weibo hinted about the probable design of the device. According to the rumors, the device is going to sport a metal unibody design with the 3.5mm jack and the USB Type-C charging point at the bottom of the phone. The power button and the volume rocker is placed on the right side of the handset.

The Meizu M6 Note is expected to come with a price tag of 1,599 Yuan (almost Rs. 15,000).
