ASUS has been actively developing smartphones in its Zenfone 4 series for some time now, and while a few have already been announced, there are several more to go. We had reported earlier that the company had plans to introduce a number of brand new Zenfone 4 devices, with a few of them expected to be launched this month itself. In fact, we expect at least two devices to be launched on August 17, which is no more than a little over a week from now. Before that, however, it seems like the prices of a few of these devices have been leaked.
According to new reports, the devices that are yet to be launched will be priced upwards of $350 approximately, with the Zenfone 4 Selfie being the lowest on the spectrum. Next, we have the ASUS Zenfone 4, which is reportedly going to come in two different variants. The base model with SD 630 SoC, 4GB RAM, and 64GB native storage will retail for around $370, while the higher model may cost $100 more. The latter one is expected to come with a Snapdragon 660 processor.
The remaining device is the ASUS Zenfone 4 Pro, which is clearly the jewel in the crown with its up-specced build. The Zenfone 4 Pro will sport an impressive 5.7-inch AMOLED display, and sport the latest Snapdragon 835 SoC under the hood. The powerful processor will be coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage. Both the Zenfone 4 Pro and the Zenfone 4 smartphones are expected to come with dual-camera set up. The devices in the range will have the fingerprint sensor located at the front, with the rear focusing entirely on the cameras.
The Zenfone 4 and the Zenfone 4 Pro are expected to be revealed on August 17, while the possible release dates of at least two devices- Zenfone 4V and Zenfone 4 Selfie- are yet to be disclosed. We don’t imagine that they will be too far behind.
