Nikon D850 Announced- Here’s What You Need to Know

Over the past few years the Japanese multinational brand, Nikon is doing wonderfully great in its DSLR lineup devices. For all photography enthusiasts, here’s yet another good news. The giant has finally announced its full-frame DSLR- the Nikon D850. While Nikon’s pro-level D5 may rule the current DSLR offering, the 2017 D850 flagship camera comes handy for every level of photography, starting from pros to semi-pros to the amateurs.

Nikon D850 Key Specifications and Features

The Nikon D850, reportedly, comes with a hefty 45.7-megapixel CMOS sensor which is powered by top-line Expeed 5 image processor on board, in order to wrangle the media files. Nikon with its D850 device is offering a standard sensitivity range of ISO 64-25,600 that is expandable up to ISO 32 – 102,400. The new DSLR can shoot at 7 frames per second, in terms of continuous shooting.

The optics and imaging giant has implemented the “silent shooting” option on its new full-frame DSLR. Apart from the “silent shooter” mode, the Nikon D850 camera lets users shoot up to 6 fps at full resolution via the Live View mode. Nikon’s D850 camera sports two memory card slots, while one is XQD, another is SD. Nikon’s D850 is backed by a powerful battery which can last up to 70 minutes of video or about 1,800 shots. In respect to company’s pride, Nikon has also included other features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Snapbridge with Nikon D850.

Nikon D850 Key Price

As per pricing, Nikon’s new full-frame camera can only be sold to serious photographers with deep pockets. The Nikon D850 device comes with a price tag of $3,299 (approximately Rs 2,11,280 for Indian fans) and will go on sale in September. Prior to a couple of months, we had reported about the NIKKOR 70-300 F/4.5-5.6E ED VR which sports a minimum focus distance of 3.94 ft. It seems that the optics giant is working the path of excellence by manufacturing all brand new devices.
