Panasonic has been on a roll recently with its new Eluga series of smartphones. We had previously covered the Eluga A3 and the A3 Pro which had on board Arbo, which is Panasonic’s version of the AI-based digital personal assistant. The A3 range is slightly premium covered to its latest launch, the Panasonic Eluga I2 Activ, which boasts of a superb selfie camera and great battery backup. Also, this latest model seems to be a watered down variant of the mid-range entry, the Eluga I3 Mega.
Panasonic Eluga I2 Activ Specs and Features
The Panasonic Eluga I2 Activ has pretty decent features given that it is essentially a budget device. It boasts of a 5-inch HD display that has a pretty decent screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. At the heart of this Panasonic device is a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. Also on offer are two RAM variants of 1GB and 2GB. Both the RAM variants, however, have similar native/on board storage options: 16GB. Thanks to the presence of the microSD card slot, the storage capacity can be increased to up to 128GB.
As far as the photography department is concerned, the new Panasonic Eluga I2 Activ has an 8-megapixel rear/primary camera that has for company autofocus and LED flash. The front snapper has a 5-megapixel sensor which is great for selfies as well as for video calling. Keeping the lights on will be a decent 2200mAh battery while the handset itself will run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. Connectivity options are also pretty neat: this device will support 4G VoLTE, as well as WiFi 802.11b/g/n, besides the mandatory Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. This will be a dual-SIM device.

The Panasonic Eluga I2 Activ is a bona fide selfie centered budget device and will come in color options of Gold, Rose Gold, and Grey. The 2GB RAM variant will come for Rs 7,990 while the 1GB RAM version will set you back by Rs 7,190.
