Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+Supports Google Daydream VR

Even before the launch of Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, fans considered the devices to get unveiled with Daydream VR support. Unfortunately, that never happened and Samsung’s S8 variants faced certain criticism. But now with valid reports, we have gathered that Google has confirmed the flagship smartphones to get Daydream VR support.

Through Google+, Google VR team recently revealed, “The Daydream-ready update is rolling out now to Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. Explore new worlds with #Daydream.” Finally being an official announcement by Google+, the Google Daydream VR support is going to appear on both the S8 smartphones. Reportedly, last month T-Mobile assured that the Google Daydream VR support will be offered to the flagship smartphones of Samsung to be enabled soon. Eventually, the virtual reality department of Google+ account has officially announced Daydream VR support to hit on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy S8 rolled out with a bezel-less design and a screen size of 5.8-inch Infinity Display. While on the contrary, the S8 + variant came out with an extended 6.2-inch display screen. The flagship devices are powered by the industry-first 10nm processor – Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC. On the imaging front, both the devices feature a 12 MP camera on the rear alongside a selfie shooter of 8 MP. The rear camera also comes coupled with Dual Pixel Technology.

One can easily be beneficial while going for Galaxy S8 or S8+ because of the feature like hybrid dual SIM slot. The IP68 water and dust resistance feature also capture fans’ attention, thereby making the flagship device one in a million. Two devices also sport a native storage of  64 GB with an expandable 256 GB. Arguably, both the phones sport the best AMOLED screens on the market with highest resolutions 2,960 x 1,440. With new color variants, Galaxy Galaxy S8 is available in Maple Gold, Midnight Black, and the lastly introduced Orchid Gray. While the Galaxy S8+ variant comes with an availability of Coral Blue, Orchid Gray, Midnight Black and Maple Gold.
