Intex Aqua Lions 2 Launched in India With Android Nougat And 4G Support

Intex Technologies, which is known for its budget devices which often have above-normal features, has launched a new device in the country. Called the Intex Aqua Lions 2, this device will run on the Android Nougat OS and will have support for 4G VoLTE. Just last week, the Intex Aqua Lions 3 was launched for Rs 6,499, as we had reported. This new device comes for Rs 4,599 and comes in Champagne Gold as well as in Black.

The new Intex Aqua Lions 2 has on board a 5-inch FWVGA display which boasts a screen resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. Such a screen resolution is not exactly top-of-the-line but will not be too disappointing either. This new device has, at the heart, a 32-bit quad-core processor. Intex, however, has not specified the make or model of the processor. Also, this SoC will work in tandem with 1GB of RAM. There is 8GB of internal storage, something which can be expanded to up to 64GB thanks to a micro SD card slot.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the new Intex Aqua Auqa 2 has a 5-MP sensor on both the front as well as the rear. It will run on the Android 7.0 Nougat and ample juice will be provided thanks to a 2400mAh Li-ion battery. Connectivity options will include 4G VoLTE, as well as WiFi 802.11b/g/n, besides Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/AGPS, as well as more standard features like FM Radio. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack as well as micro USB port.

On board the new device is a variety of different apps which includes Tap n Buy, used for shopping, Xender app for transferring contacts, photos, and other miscellaneous files. It also has the Amazon Prime Videos app for streaming/downloading popular movies as well as TV shows. The new DataBack app, Intex says, will be able to offer up to 500MB of free data back to the users each month.
