Sony Xperia XZ1 to Launch Today in India: The Essentials Are Right Here

Sony’s latest Xperia addition has been making all right hypes in the recent tech industry. It seems that the Japanese smartphone manufacturer with its Sony Xperia XZ1 has made everything possible in bringing the flagship smartphone for the Indian market. Earlier we have reported on how the official renders were leaked (as mentioned here). Now from the reports, we have learned that the smartphone is making its debut in India, set for today.

Initially, the smartphone was unveiled at the IFA Berlin alongside  Xperia XZ1 Compact and the Xperia XA1 Plus. But when it comes to the designing philosophy, we have already reported some major features that were revealed prior to a couple of days. In case, one may check the report on how the device was envisioned to sport unusually thick bezels.

In the design language, Sony reportedly sticks to the same traditional OmniBalance design but with a revised edition. As reported already, Sony brings the unusual thick bezel feature alongside the Sony Xperia XZ1. The smartphone features a metal body with a ‘flagship loop surface’ and sports a 5.2-inch full-HD HDR display along with a screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor and paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

On the optics front, Sony Xperia XZ1 comes with a MotionEye 19-megapixel Exmor RS sensor camera alongside 3D scanning abilities. Sony’s Xperia XZ1 also created a buzz when its rear panel was leaked (as we had informed right here). Not only one, but several leaks and rumor indicated that Xperia range will have high-end rear cameras with the new entry. Apart from the rear cameras, Sony Xperia XZ1 flaunts a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.0 of aperture.

Sony Xperia XZ1 Price and Availability

Sony Xperia XZ1 was priced at $699.99 in the US, which is approximately Rs. 45,000. While talking about the availability, the tech giant spilled the beans at the IFA Berlin, saying that the smartphone will be shipped with Android 8.0 Oreo from the month of September. Let us now count hours for what Sony does for the Indian fans concerning the all-new- Sony Xperia XZ1.
