Xiaomi Chiron Spotted to Feature Top-End Features, Indicates GFXBench Listing

Xiaomi is one of the engaging brands to manufacture some incredible devices in the recent past. Now that Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 2 has already unveiled by the company, Xiaomi’s Chiron handset is playing its part in the rumor mill. A month after we reported you on how the smartphone appeared on a database hinted at an imminent launch, another news has come forth. According to the recent report, Xiaomi Chiron has appeared on GFXBench with top-end features.

The benchmarking site, GFXBench, reveals the smartphone to sport a 5.6-inch full HD screen. Under the hood, the Xiaomi Chiron will house an octa-core processor, the Snapdragon 835 and clocked at 2.4GHz. From the report, one may expect Xiaomi Chiron to be wrapped up with a 6GB of RAM alongside an internal storage of 256 GB. With the imaging aspects, one may expect the smartphone to feature a 12MP rear camera alongside the capacity of 4 K video recording. The selfie shooter might sport a 5MP front-facing camera.

Now, what do we analyze via the report? We have already informed you that Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship is codenamed as ‘Chiron‘. If at all we this report is to be taken into consideration (as mentioned here), then Chiron flagship is none other than the expected Mi Note 3 Pro.

Prior to a couple of days, we have seen Xiaomi launching the much-awaited Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 which rolled out with 5.99-inch FHD+ AMOLED display alongside 18:9 aspect ratio and a screen resolution of a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. On the optics front, the smartphone sports a single sensor of the 12MP Sony IMX386 at the rear panel. Whereas, the selfie shooter sports a 12MP Sony IMX386 sensor. As per pricing, four variants of Mi Mix 2 are priced at ¥3299 (∼$506), ¥3599 (∼$552), ¥3999 (∼$614) and ¥4699 (∼$721) respectively.
