The OnePlus 5T has been in the new for some time now. It is set to release on the 16 of November. Now that a new render, apparently that of the upcoming device, has cropped up on the Internet, it seems that all the speculation will soon come to a halt. The new render, if true, will show off the basic features and the design aesthetic of the new phone and also displays a changed position of the fingerprint scanner. Read more to know.
From what we know till now, the new render apparently confirms all of the features which we have hinted at. It has extremely thin bezels on the sides as well as on the top and the bottom. The OnePlus 5T also has an aspect ratio of 18: 9 on a 6-inch screen. The bezels are very different from what we saw on the OnePlus 5, which is one of the year’s best devices.
We expect a 6-inch full HD+ display that will have a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels aboard the new OnePlus 5T from what we know so far.
The fact that OnePlus is heralding in thinner bezels shows off yet again the company’s intention that it is moving away from the capacitive buttons and moving towards on-screen buttons which may be non-capacitive. Besides, it seems that the fingerprint scanner may well be removed from the front portion of the phone and may be pushed to the rear of the device. The scanner may well be located just under the logo of the company on the rear side.
It seems that the phone will look remarkably similar to the Oppo R11s, which is another Chinese product. The similarities are difficult to ignore, actually. The new OnePlus 5T is also likely to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack as far as the latest reports are concerned.
