Remember those flip phones which were considered the coolest thing in the ’90s? After Leader 8 launched in China, Samsung, the Korean tech conglomerate seems to be all up with its mystery smartphone, codenamed the Samsung W2018. A week ago, we have got hands on another post that closely indicated that this Samsung W2018 is nothing but a flip phone manufactured by Samsung. The leak showed off some of the details such as the existence of physical keyboard, two displays of the device and other likes.
From the recent hands-on video of Samsung W2018, the design language shows off entirely. Being the talk of the town, the Samsung W2018 has been teased on YouTube via its hands-on video poster. Since the video is in the Chinese language, it was impossible to decode all the information, reports Gizbot. Aesthetically, one may expect this upcoming handset to sport a metallic design, thereby featuring a premium and stylish appearance.
Externally, the device comes with a set of physical navigation buttons. While one of the two displays of this Samsung’s handset is placed on the top, the other can be seen when one flip opens the phone. The rear panel consists of a single camera module alongside a heart rate monitor. One can also view the fingerprint reader at the back. On top, there’s a backlit physical keypad that one may get hands-on with Samsung W2018.
According to the leaks so far, we are expecting some excellent features. The rumor mill says that the device will feature two 4.2-inch Full HD displays alongside a Snapdragon 835 chipset. Besides the Snapdragon processor, there would also be 6GB RAM and a standard 64GB storage, that may change later. Fueling the phone will be a 2300mAh battery. There are rumors that this new Samsung flip phone will exclusively be available in the Chinese markets, but right now we are no one to neither confirm nor deny this report.
