Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is back again with another mid-range smartphone. Much to the delight of the budget conscious customers, the tech giant has launched another variant of Honor 6 Play. Days after launching the original model, the brand has now come up adding the cherry on the cake by unveiling this variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
While one may think the only difference between devices is just the RAM and memory specification, there’s one more thing that one may take a note on. Another most important difference is its price tag. Honor 6 Play with 2 GB RAM comes with a price tag of 599 Yuan (roughly Rs 5,880), Gizbot reports that the latest model with 3 GB RAM is available at 699 Yuan (roughly Rs 6,838).
To recall, Honor 6 Play bears a 5-inch HD 720p display with an average 294 ppi pixel density. Underneath its hood, the device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor clocked at 1.4GHz. As already discussed, this new smartphone features 3 GB of RAM alongside 32 GB of native storage. The memory can further be expanded up to 128 GB using a card slot.
On the optics front, the Honor 6 Play bears a disappointing rear camera of 8MP with an aperture of f/2.0. Whereas, the selfie shooter sports a camera of 5 MP sensor along with f/2.4 aperture. On its software front, Honor 6 Play runs the Android Nougat OS. The phone is equipped with a battery of 3,020mAh capacity.
Connectivity options of Honor 6 Play include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi, dual SIM support, micro USB 2.0, and more. Weighing a mere 150 grams, the new Honor 6 Play is an ideal device in terms of one-handed use. As per availability, the traditional smartphone is available in two color variants- White and Gold.
