The Indian smartphone making brand Intex has launched two new mid-range smartphones in India dubbed as the Aqua Lions T1 and Aqua Jewel 2. Both the smartphones support 4G VoLTE and come with a sub-Rs. 6000 price tag. Although the smartphones are yet not available to purchase, the company has assured both the smartphones will be available soon from various leading offline stores all across the country.
Intex Aqua Jewel 2
The more expensive of the two, the Intex Aqua Jewel 2 sports a 5-inch HD display with 720p pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A chipset. The processor is further coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage capacity which is further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot.
On the optics front, the Intex Aqua Jewel 2 flaunts an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and autofocus. The primary rear camera is also accompanied by some photo enhancing features like burst mode, panorama mode, face detection and others.The handset is backed by a 2500mAh battery and includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, dual SIM, 4G VoLTE and other connectivity features. The Intex Aqua Jewel 2 is priced at Rs. 5,899 and is available in Champagne and Black color.
Intex Aqua Lions T1
The other smartphone Intex Aqua Lions T1 comes with a 5.2-inch qHD display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core SC9832 processor clubbed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of native storage which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. In terms of optics, the handset flaunts an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. A 5-megapixel secondary camera is also placed on the front for clicking selfies. The Intex Aqua Lions T1 comes packed with various connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi, GPS, and others. This pocket-friendly smartphone is backed by a 2700mAh battery which according to the company’s claim can provide 200 hours of standby time and up to 7 hours of talk time.
The Intex Aqua Lions T1 is available in three different colors-Coffee, Champagne, and Black. The handset is priced at Rs. 4,999.
