One of the most awaited smartphones of the year, the OnePlus 5T is expected to make its debut in New York on 16th November. And as the launch date is coming closer, more and more news, updates, and rumors regarding the forthcoming smartphone are making headlines on the internet. Today, three days before the official launch, the renowned tipster Slashleaks has leaked almost all the key specs of the upcoming flagship device along with valuable information on the price and availability.
Hardware wise the OnePlus 5T is not very different to the OnePlus 5. most of the key specs are very much similar. But aesthetically, the upcoming flagship is going be different with the present one, as the OnePlus 5T is going to flaunt a bezel-less screen, just like the iPhone X or Samsung Galaxy Note 8. But just like the previous handsets of the company, OnePlus 5T is also going to be available at a much cheaper price than the Apple’s or Samsung’s flagship devices.
Talking about the display, the OnePlus 5T is going to sport an almost bezel-less, edge-to-edge display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. In terms of specifications, the OnePlus 5T is pegged to boast a 6.01-inch full-HD optic AMOLED screen with a pixel resolution of 1080 x 2160pixels and 401 ppi pixel density. The screen is also going to support DCI-P3 abd sRGB color gamut which is also known as the Sunlight display which offers the users a great viewing experience in the harsh light.
Under the hood, just like the OnePlus 5, the OnePlus 5T is also tipped to house 2.45GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset paired with Adreno 540 GPU. Just like the current edition, the upcoming flagship device will also come with two memory variants-6GB RAM and 8GB RAM with either 64GB or 128GB internal storage capacity.
In terms of optics, the specifications of OnePlus 5T is similar to the features of OnePlus 5. The forthcoming handset is also going to feature a rear dual camera setup with a 16-megapixel sensor and a 20-megapixel telephoto lens. On the front, the OnePlus 5T is believed to feature a 16-megapixel snapper, just like its predecessor. The OnePlus 5T is going to run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS with the company’s very own Oxygen OS running top of it. The phone is expected to back by a 3300mAh battery, just like the OnePlus 5.
The OnePlus 5T will be available to purchase from 21st November via Amazon and will be priced at the almost same of the OnePlus.
