If the latest report is to be taken into consideration, Samsung’s two anticipated phones have been spotted on a hands-on video. Said to be the successors to Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7, the Galaxy A8 And A8 Plus through the video reveals a stunning design language. While we already know how important it is for smartphone giants to implement excellent aesthetic features within their ranges of smartphones, several companies are following this bandwagon, thereby we come across such amazing concept videos and hands-on videos of various devices such as OnePlus 6, Nokia 6 (2018), and the likes.
The Galaxy A8 was earlier reported to debut alongside Galaxy S9 in early 2018. Now the same smartphone alongside A8 Plus has been spotted on the hands-on video, which apparently appears to be as authentic as official. It seemingly confirms that both the smartphones will sport a rear-mounted fingerprint reader located right below the camera module. Apart from that, the camera sensor is seen occupied with a single LED flash. Not to forget, the camera on the rear panel consists of a 16-megapixel. Up front, there’s an 8-megapixel sensor as a selfie shooter. The front-facing camera also bears the support for face recognition feature, reports GizmoChina.
From the hands-on video, one may also expect Samsung’s Galaxy A8 And A8 Plus to feature a full-screen display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. On the side, there would be the speakers and surprisingly the Galaxy A8 And A8 Plus will likely ditch the dedicated Bixby button. Under the hood, the phones will be powered by Samsung‘s in-house Exynos 7885 processor paired with 6GB / 4GB RAM, and 64GB / 32GB internal storage, respectively.
One can also get hands on the microSD card slot which supports an expandable storage. The main difference between Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8 Plus is its display size. While the Galaxy A8 will come with a 5.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, the extended model Galaxy A8 Plus will flaunt a mammoth 6-inch Full HD+ display Super AMOLED display.
Powering the Galaxy A8, there’s a 3,000mAh battery, while on contrary, the Galaxy A8 Plus will bear a bigger battery of 3,500mAh capacity. Further updates will surface on the internet in the near future, so one may keep an eye right here.
