2014 had seen the launch of HTC’s Desire Eye smartphone, which featured a massive selfie shooter. Now with all plausible reports, HTC‘s Ocean Harmony is rumored to be arriving with the Eye branding. This, indeed, can be taken into consideration, as Evan Blass, the famous tipster, has recently leaked that, “The upcoming HTC Harmony will come to market as the, ahem, HTC U11 EYEs.”
Blass’s reports have been consistent enough to go by when it comes to anticipating the upcoming devices. From this report, the forthcoming HTC Harmony phone, from the Taiwanese tech conglomerate, will be marketed as the U11 EYEs. Nevertheless, the tipster hasn’t yet revealed other information on the specs front. On contrary, other reports claim that the upcoming HTC U11 EYEs will sport an amazing selfie shooter with dual front-facing cameras. The upcoming device, since it belongs to the U11 family, is expected to speak a similar design language alike to other U-series phones.
Earlier, the mysterious HTC 2Q4R400 had already been certified by 3C in China, and from earlier rumors, it has been envisioned that the phone might have been codenamed as the HTC Ocean Harmony, reports GizmoChina. From the leak via the Chinese markets, the codenamed HTC Ocean Harmony is expected to bear a 5.99-inch display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.
Talking about the upcoming HTC U11 EYEs, one may expect the smartphone to house the Snapdragon 652 and Snapdragon 660 chipsets in its two variants. While the SD 652 may be paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, the SD 660 version will be combined with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of default storage.
On the optics front, the U11 EYEs is anticipated to feature a pair of 5-megapixel front-facing cameras alongside an OIS enabled 12-megapixel rear-mounted shooter. Fueling the device, there’ll be a 3,930mAh battery. As per pricing, while the Snapdragon 652 model is pegged to be priced at 2,599 Yuan (~$395), the Snapdragon 660 edition will cost 3,599 Yuan (~$545).
