If the recent report is anything to go by, the Chinese multinational tech giant, Huawei, is all set to implement a similar iPhone X-like notch in its upcoming Huawei P11. The development has already begun by the company and with that, we have been receiving leaks and rumors of the anticipated Huawei P11. From the early reports, the same smartphone has been teased to come with a bezel-less design.
The latest report which suggests that Huawei P11 will have a notch found on iPhone X and the Essential Phone has been leaked via the XDA Developers. The XDA team has come across some firmware files for the forthcoming Huawei flagship, from which, one of the configuration files has claimed that the area surrounding the iPhone X-like notch portion is touted as the “RoundCornerDisplay”. As per claims, the upcoming Huawei flagship phone has also been suggested to sport a notch.
According to other leaks, the upcoming Huawei P11 is expected to feature a 6.01-inch Samsung EA8074 CMD TFT LCD panel with a support for Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Other shreds of evidence suggest that it may support 2244 x 1080 pixels resolution. The alleged Huawei P11 will have such a screen resolution due to the presence of a notch.
As per the launch date, the Chinese tech giant might unveil its upcoming P11 device at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event which is scheduled for February 2018. Underneath its hood, the Huawei P11 is expected to house the Kirin 970 chipset and may run the EMUI 8.0.0 based on the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. Earlier we have seen the same chipset to be fueled on other Huawei phones like Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and Honor V10.
The Huawei P11 is expected to support Huawei’s Easy Projection that indicates to feature USB 3.1 port. While there is no other information on its pricing, one may expect to get further updates on this front in the coming days. For more news and leaks, share this space.
