The upcoming flagship smartphone from Nokia, the Nokia 9– a device we have covered earlier, has now appeared on the Geekbench with the codename ‘Avatar’, a worthy one, in our opinion. The new Nokia 9 is a beautifully crafted smartphone and is bound to be on par with some of the very best flagship smartphones.  We have also covered the incredible design of the Nokia 9.

Some extra details of the Nokia 9 have also been uncovered by the Geekbench listing. The recent FCC listing has pointed out that this device is set to be powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset, which is the year’s flagship chipset from Qualcomm. The SD 835 chip will be working in tandem with 6 GB of RAM while the latest Android 8.0 Oreo OS will come pre-installed. The Nokia 9 has scored 1,910 in the single-core test while in the multi-core test format, the score is a handsome 6,796.

This is not the first time that a Nokia smartphone will have the Snapdragon 835 processor installed. The Nokia 8 too has the same heart. While the Nokia 8 has visible bezels and is nowhere close to the current design philosophy, the Nokia 9 has been revealed with a 5.5-inch screen that has been supplied by LG Display. As of now, the exact resolution of the screen is not known at this moment. We can reasonably expect support for FHD+ resolution besides the in style of the 18:9 aspect ratio. The new render of the phones, as revealed by the FCC listing, has also that there will be dual selfie snappers. The phone’s rear panel will also house a 12-megapixel + 13-megapixel dual rear camera system besides a fingerprint scanner. While the default internal storage will be 128 GB and we can expect to see a 3,250mAh battery, the price point of the device is currently unknown.

The Nokia 9 is said to have a possibility of being announced on January 19, 2018. Stay tuned for more updates.
