The latest report indicates HMD’s next Nokia flagship smartphone, dubbed the Nokia 9 has been leaked via a fresh render spotted on the Chinese microblogging website, Weibo. After being certified by the Federal Communications Commission, FCC, the smartphone appears in the leak that gives us a very close look at its frontal appearance. Although, one may take this report with a grain of salt as no legitimacy concerning this leak has been offered by the company.

So far, no other leaks until now have been as authentic as the fresh render that appeared online recently. One may take the best look at the front panel of the device which suggests that there would be ultra-thin bezels, contradicting to the thick bezels that Nokia 8 was unveiled with. The top bezel of the smartphone consists of the front camera module which is believed to have dual cameras. While design wise, the Nokia 9 smartphone is believed to sport a metallic chassis, there are speculations on whether the smartphone will feature glass or metal in its rear panel.

Surprisingly, HMD Global might ditch a front-mounted fingerprint scanner, instead one may expect the same to be embedded on the rear panel. According to what we have gathered via its FCC certification, the Nokia 9 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch OLED screen, while the screen resolution is still a mystery. Underneath, there would be a Snapdragon 835 chipset, on the hardware front. The imaging aspects include a  12-megapixel and 13-megapixel dual cameras.

From the leaks so far, Nokia 9 has been revealed to sport a selfie shooter of  5-megapixel. It seems that this resolution might belong to one of the frontal cameras, reports GizmoChina. Powering the device, there would be a 3,250mAh battery. On the software front, the smartphone is anticipated to run the Android 8.0 Oreo, out of the box. Earlier, Baidu informed us that the Nokia device with model number TA-1054 had already cleared the compulsory certification in China. As per envisions, the smartphone was considered to be the alleged Nokia 9 device.

As of now, the device may ditch the 3.5 mm headphone jack. More news awaits, until any confirmation one may share this space with us.
