Sharp, the Japanese giant, has been constantly pushing the envelope as far as the bezel-less smartphones are concerned. Now, the new Sharp FS8015 has been spotted n the popular benchmarking site TENAA and some of the specs have also been revealed. Sharp had recently released the Aquos R compact which runs on the Android 8.0 platform and is available now.
The Sharp FS8018 was spotted this week on TENAA which had shown off a 5.48-inch screen that even had a one-of-its-kind screen resolution of stunning 2040×1080 pixels. Now, the FS8015 has surfaced.
The latest news comes from the official site of TENAA. The specs and features are also rather good. The new Sharp FS8015 boasts a 5.99-inches TFT capacitive display that has the 18:9 aspect ratio which is the current flavor of the season. Such an aspect ratio essentially means that a bigger display can be fitted inside a screen of the same size while the widescreen movies can also be enjoyed with ease. The display offers a great resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. Some of the other details that these leaked specs showed about this smartphone is the fact that it will house a 3,100 mAh battery unit, as well as some connectivity band information including GSM, CDMA, and other protocols like TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE, LTE, and FDD.
The new Sharp FS8015 is said to be powered by an octa-core 2.2GHz CPU which will work in tandem with 4GB and 6GB RAM options, making that two variants on offer. We believe that either the Snapdragon 660 or possibly the Snapdragon 630 processor will power the device. The listing that we saw on the TENNA’s page shows that Sharp’s new smartphone runs on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo; there will be two storage options (64GB and 128GB) based on the RAM, whose prices will be different as well. There will be microSD card support aboard these devices as well.
