Vivo X20 2018 FIFA World Cup Edition Shown Off

Vivo, which is a Chinese manufacturer of smartphones which specialize in manufacturing devices which specialize in selfies and cameras. This company is also now the official sponsor of the FIFA football world cups in 2018 in Russia and in 2020 in Qatar. To commemorate these two occasions, the company has decided to launch a new Vivo X20 2018 FIFA World Cup edition. The details follow.

The world cup 2018 are set to be held in Russia from June 14 to July 15 and will have participants from around the world. Besides the fact that the new Vivo X20, all the other specs and features are expected to remain the same. It is also worth noting that the Vivo X20 has had a lot of external design changes, such as the blue color variant which had arrived just days ago.

Being the official FIFA 2018 phone, this is being seen as a global marketing exercise which will make Vivo a global brand as well. All the players and the officials of the tournament are expected to use the device.

The new Vivo X20 FIFA World Cup edition has just one design change. On the rear side of the device, at the bottom, lies the brand of the world cup. You can check out the picture below.

As far as the specs and features are concerned, the phone, which was first released in September 2017, has a 6.01-inch AMOLED display that also has a resolution of 1080 by 2160 pixels. With an aspect ratio of 18:9, it is ideal for watching wide-screen movies. Powering the device will be a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor that will work in tandem with 4GB of RAM. The Vivo X20 also offers 64GBof storage on the base variant as well as 128GB of internal storage on the more premium variant. These storage capacities are further expandable to up to 256GB thanks to a microSD card.
