The foremost Android One smartphone (the Mi A1) by the Chinese tech giant has finally received a permanent price tag of Rs. 1000 which has dropped down to Rs. 13,999. Now that the Xiaomi Mi A1 is available at just rs. 13,999, it has become a great advantage to Xiaomi fans who were waiting to get their hands on the smartphone at a lower price tag. Manu Kumar Jain, the Managing Director of Xioami India dropped this news via Twitter where he tweeted, “Great news Mi Fans: announcing a permanent price drop of Rs. 1,000 on Mi A1! Buy it from Mi.com and @Flipkart.” Through his tweet, it is clear that the Xiaomi Mi A1 has received a permanent price cut and from now onwards will be available at Rs. 13,999 on Mi.com and Flipkart.

Aside from the price tag, interested users who wish to purchase this Xiaomi device via Flipkart will get an additional five percent discount by using Axis Bank Buzz credit card, reports Gizbot. Additionally, there’s a no-cost EMI option to buy the smartphone with monthly installment as Rs. 1,556. The ecommerce company, Flipkart, is also providing buyback guarantee at Rs. 99, which is said to offer a guaranteed value on exchanging the smartphone on this ecommerce portal in future.
To recall, the Xioami‘s Mi A1 bears a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. Alongside it also comes with a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass on top. Underneath, the smartphone houses the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and a default storage of 64GB capacity. On the optics front, there’s a dual camera module that sports a pair of 12-megapixel image sensors. There’s also f/2.2 aperture as well as 1.25-micron pixel size alongside. Up front, Xiaomi Mi A1 is equipped with the 5-megapixel camera sensor.
On the software front, it runs the Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system. Connectivity options include GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C, as well as a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack. Xiaomi Mi A1 measures 155.40 x 75.80 x 7.30 and weighs 168.00 grams.
