CES 2018: Lenovo Launches Snapdragon 835-Powered 2-in-1 Notebook Named Miix 630

After HP and Asus, it now seems that Lenovo has caught the idea of producing Windows 10 PCs with an ARM architecture. The Chinese giant has now come up with a new 2-in-1 ARM-chipset based Windows 10 laptop which is called the Miix 630. Last year at the IFA 2017, the company had launched two new laptops as well.

We have earlier reported how 2018 will be the year of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835-powered computers. The latest offering from Lenovo, the Miix 630, is essentially a 2-in-1 notebook that carries onboard a 12.3-inch Full HD display and boasts a very impressive 1920 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. It also comes with a detachable keyboard, which looks remarkably similar to the other Lenovo ThinkPad laptops as far as design and aesthetics are concerned.

The Lenovo Miix 630 will now be available in two different options; one will have 4GB RAM while a more premium 8GB RAM variant will also be present. As far as the internal storage is concerned, the users can choose between options ranging from 64GB to 256GB. Besides the LTE connectivity, the machine also uses 2×2 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1.

The new Lenovo Miix 630

The new Lenovo Miix 630 also boasts a 13-megapixel rear camera as well as a 5-megapixel front-facing camera that also supports Windows Hello. This being a Windows laptop, the Miix 630 will also support such features as Cortana voice assistant.

As is the case with the Microsoft Always-Connected PCs, this Lenovo device also has LTE connectivity. Like we mentioned, this new Lenovo Miix 630 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, which is omnipresent in many flagship mobile devices. the device will also come bundled with a great Windows Ink-supporting digital pen that is capable of 1,024 levels of pressure.

The Lenovo Miix 630 is capable of providing a great 20 hours of battery life. Such a battery life can be expected even when playing locally saved videos at an estimated 150 nits brightness. The Lenovo Mixx 630 will launch sometime between April and June of 2018 and the price tag will be around $799.
