Indian smartphone delivering brand, Smartron, is again in the new leaks. According to what the reports imply, the company is all set to launch a new Smartron smartphone with a massive battery backup. The smartphone making company has previously come to the fore with srt.phone in India at Rs.12,999.
According to the reports by IANS, sources have claimed that upcoming Smartron smartphone will feature a mammoth 5,000mAh battery and will be an exclusive device to be available only on Flipkart.
The domestic original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Smartron is now all set to refresh its budget smartphone line-up with a brand-new smartphone which is tipped to come with a price tag of Rs. 10,000.
The upcoming Smartron smartphone is expected to bear a metal body with an internal storage of 32GB capacity. The storage is further expandable up to 128GB.
The company has previously launched an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered IoT platform called “tronX” that is intended to help connect a range of devices.
We have earlier seen how the company debuted with Smartron’s srt.phone. According to the report, the srt is interpreted as Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar which was priced at Rs. 13,999 in India. The smartphone was made official by Tendulkar himself who is reportedly a strategic investor in the firm. Talking about the device, the srt.phone bears a 5.5-inch Full HD display and supports a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Underneath, it houses the four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.44GHz and four Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, precisely the octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor. The device runs the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system, out of the box and features a 3,000mAh battery backup.
The initial smartphone was a Flipkart exclusive device, dubbed the Billion Capture+, also supported AI capabilities. With the next “tronX” update, the customers will access a wide range of personalized and intelligent experiences as well as services.
Smartron aims to partner with other brands around the other market segments in order to deliver and design devices in a wide range.
