Samsung has launched the Galaxy On7 Prime smartphone in India, today. The phone is available in two variants, one with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory and the other variant having 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage space. The first variant is priced at Rs 12,990 and the other at Rs 14,990. The smartphone is available exclusively on Amazon India and will go on sale from January 20, 2018, during the Amazon “Great Indian Sale” offer. The phone is available in two color variants of Black and Gold.
Users will also get Rs 2000 cashback in Jio Money on a minimum recharge of Rs 299 per month for 24 months. Users can also avail no-cost EMI options on some selected bank debit and credit cards.
Talking about the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy On7 boasts a metal unibody design with a 5.5-inch full HD display screen having 1080 X 1920 pixels resolution. A 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor powers the phone. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and a 3300 mAh battery fuels the phone, with enough power to last a day or two depending upon usage.
Coming to the camera, the phone features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a front camera of the same resolution for clear selfies and video calling with f/1.9 aperture. The phone also features dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and USB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer between laptops or computers.
The device also offers Samsung Pay Mini support to make instant payments using UPI and other mobile wallets. The new device also features Samsung Mall, that allows users to search for items across multiple online stores through the app. A Samsung spokesperson informed that the company has partnered with Jabong, TATA Cliq and Shopclues for the Samsung Mall feature.
