Nokia 7 Plus Revealed With Dual Rear Cameras and 18:9 Display

HMD Global revealed last year that they were working on a new smartphone, which was likely to be named Nokia 7 Plus. Though, they did not reveal anything about the expected launch date or the specifications of the phone. Now after all these months, there are reports that the Nokia 7 has been leaked on benchmarking website, GeekBench last week. A new listing has appeared on the site, mentioning all the specifications of the new device.

The leaked image has been shared by Nokia Power User mentioning the complete specifications and looks of the new device. Now, we have got a clear idea about how the smartphone may look and what new features it is going to offer. The Nokia 7 Plus may become the first smartphone to feature dual rear cameras and 18:9 aspect ratio display screen.

As per the information on the leaked image, the phone may feature an aluminum unibody design with a ceramic texture. It is likely to have a 6-inch full HD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and 2160 X 1080 pixel resolution. It may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset with Adreno 512 GPU.

The leak has also revealed that the device will feature a dual rear camera setup with 12 megapixel and 13 megapixel sensors. The secondary camera will also feature the portrait mode. It will feature a 16 megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. It is going to run on the latest Android Oreo 8.0 version out of the box.

As reported by us earlier, HMD Global has planned to launch the phone on February 25, just ahead of the MWC 2018 event, to be held in Barcelona. The company is also likely to launch Nokia  9, Android Oreo (Go Edition) based Nokia 1, Nokia 4 and Nokia 8 (2018) as well.

Just to recall the current Nokia 7, has 16 MP rear camera, dual band WiFi, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS and USB type-C port. It is fueled by a 3000 mAh battery with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage space.
