Nokia 7 plus which was recently spotted on benchmarking site, Geekbench is reportedly ready to get unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018,later this month. The company in facet has already planned its launch event just ahead of the MWC event.
According to a report by NokiaPowerUser, the Nokia 7 Plus is likely to get announced by HMD Global on February 25 of this month, along with the much anticipated Nokia 9. The first thing that we got to know from the source is the model number of the new Nokia 7. This phone is set to become the first bezel-less smartphone from Nokia with full screen design and would carry a model number of TA-1055. It is also likely that the device would feature a 18:9 aspect ratio full HD display. But the device is yet to clear any certification from the concerned authorities as of now.
The Nokia 7 Plus is likely to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset and 4GB RAM and would run on Android Oreo 8.0 version out of the box. The device is reportedly in production already and would be available after the launch event is completed at the MWC 2018.
The company is also likely to launch the Nokia 9, and the Android Oreo based Nokia 1 at the event which would be held from February 25 to March 1 of this year. Alongside these two phones, the company is also expected to launch Nokia 4 and Nokia 8 (2018).
The current Nokia 7 features a 16 mega-pixel rear camera, WiFi dual band, Bluetooth, GPS, USB-type C port for charging and NFC. The device is powered by a 3000 mAh battery which does not support the latest fast-charging function which smartphones of today’s generation usually do. So we expect the Nokia 7 Plus to feature a larger battery with more juice and also support for the fast-charging feature.
