We are just a couple of days ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 tech show. And as days are passing, several envisions are surfacing which indicate that the launches of the anticipated smartphones are knocking at the door. This time the news points out that the upcoming and longly-awaited Sony Xperia XZ2 Pro has been spotted on HTML benchmark.
Sony’s Xperia XZ2 Pro is one such upcoming and much-awaited device which is hitting the rumor mill every now and then. And now from the recent report, it is expected that it will be one premium flagship from Sony which will come with a 4K OLED display.
From the recent HTML benchmark test report via Gizbot, a mysterious smartphone has been pointed through a codename Sony H1866 which has been spotted as the alleged Xperia XZ2 Pro. The Sony Xperia device is expected to flaunt a 4K OLED screen and will support an aspect ratio of 18:9. Aside from this, the benchmark’s screenshot indicates that this Sony smartphone is pegged to run the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system, out of the box.
Often the tech news and rumors have arrived giving us a close hint that an upcoming Sony smartphone is expected to feature a 4K display and all the rumors making the rounds so far was to be of Xperia XZ Pro. The recent screenshot apparently confirms that both the existence of the smartphone as well as the name are rear. One can expect the Xperia XZ2 Pro to debut at the MWC 2018 tech show this year.
Given that the Sony smartphone is expected to arrive with a 4K OLED screen, one can also expect the display to be supplied by the South Korean giant, LG. Leaks so far indicate that this Sony Xperia XZ2 Pro smartphone might be powered by the current octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC which is expected to be paired with 6GB RAM as well as 64GB native memory support. In the camera department, the smartphone is believed to feature a 12MP dual camera module on the rear panel. Other reports also indicate that Sony Xperia XZ2 Pro may support the wireless charging. It is expected to come with a dedicated 3.5mm audio jack on the connectivity front. Until official confirmation, more news and leaks are expected to surface online.
