Treyarch’s massively popular COD: Black Ops sub-brand is set to get another first-person shooter game. Rumors have been swirling over the past couple of weeks, and the latest one apparently confirms that those envisions earlier is undoubtedly a possibility to reality. While it is no surprise to developers making Call of Duty 2018, leaks indicate that this year it would be the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
Kotaku, the popular video game website, has it that the earlier speculations for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 to be this year’s COD is apparently true. En route to tonight’s game against Oklahoma City Thunder (Houston Rockets superstar)- James Harden has been teasing the game with a hat. Dressed up in a full camo outfit, NBA superstar’s hat looks like the Black Ops III logo’s extension of “I”, hence “IIII”.
Natch it is incorrect as the roman number for 4 is IV, hence there’s no evidence of whether or not to believe “IIII” to be the actual logo for Call of Duty: Black Ops IV. We have a clear idea that creator Treyarch has evidently stated that they are developing this year’s game, Activision has not yet confirmed the game’s title though. Leaks so far echo that this year Black Ops 4 is the COD game that fans would get hold of, and for the release, they’ll still have to wait for a couple of months more.
Activision strategically announces new COD games in the month of April or May. While this time Harden has already teased the COD game, the timeline might get moved up from publisher’s side. As of now, Treyarch’s COD: Black Ops III remains as popular as unexpected and receives new updates. The fan-favorite Zombies mode is expected to arrive in this year’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, albeit with more upgradation.
