Moto G6 Plus Visits GeekBench with Snapdragon 660 SoC and 4GB RAM

As per earlier reports, Motorola is all set to unveil three new devices the Moto G6, the Moto G6 Play and the Moto G6 Plus, this Thursday, April 19, 2018. The smartphones will be unveiled at a launch event to be held in Brazil. We have already seen a number of leaks of these devices over the past few months and now the Moto G6 Plus has been spotted on Geekbench benchmarking website revealing some of the specifications. While most of the specifications of the phone were revealed by earlier leaks, the latest listing has shown some new specifications of the handset.

As per the listing on Geekbench, the Moto G6 Plus is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with 4GB of RAM support. Apart from the specifications, the listing has also revealed the single-core and multi-core test results. According to the listing, the Moto G6 Plus has secured a score of 866 points in the single-core test and 4123 points in the multi-core test held by GeekBench.

As per earlier leaks, the Moto G6 Plus is expected to come with a 5.93-inch full-HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 1080 X 2160 pixels. It is likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC (unlike the latest report) coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. It will be fueled by a 3,200 mAh battery. Coming to the camera department, the smartphone is expected to come with a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. On the front, it may feature a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling.

Apart from the Moto G6 series, Motorola may also unveil the Moto E5 series alongside. The Moto E5 Plus was in the news last week after it was spotted on GeekBench revealing some specifications and the test scores. The Moto E5 and the Moto E5 play may also get unveiled on April 19 at the launch event.
