Courtesy of earlier leaks, we already know that Motorola is presently working on a new range of smartphones under the very popular Moto G series and is likely to launch them soon. Now, specifications of these devices have been leaked on HTML benchmark, thanks to testing.
As per the leaked information about HTML5 testing results, there are allegedly three devices in the latest G6 series, which are Moto G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play respectively. All the three devices are expected to run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo with a full HD screen having a resolution of 2160 X 1080 pixels. The latest leak has also revealed that the smartphones may feature an 18:9 aspect ratio screen.
Talking about the processor units of the devices, the Moto G6 is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450, while the Moto G6 Plus may ship with Snapdragon 630 and the Moto G6 Play may feature Snapdragon 430 chipset.
Last month, a photo of the Moto G6 Plus was also leaked on Reddit. As per reports, the Moto G6 Plus to launch in three variants having 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage space. The internal memory is likely to have an upgradable option with external micro-SD card support.
Coming to the camera department, the Moto G6 Plus is expected to feature a dual camera setup on the rear panel with a combination of 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras and also a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
The device is likely to be fueled by a 3200mAh battery, which may last a day or two, depending on the usage pattern of the user with the latest fast charging technology like the other smartphones of the current generation. Also as per reports, the device may be available in three color variants of Dark Indigo, Silver and Dark Lake. All the three variants of the Moto G series are expected to get unveiled at MWC 2018, as Lenovo, the current license holder of Motorola is confirmed to be present at the event.
