Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo Listed in India with Dual Cameras, Face Recognition and More

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo mid-budget smartphone has been listed on the official Samsung India website. In the past, we have seen several leaks of the Galaxy J7 Duo that have revealed most of the specifications of the upcoming handsets.

The listing on the official Samsung India website provides a manual for download and does not reveal any other information about the upcoming smartphone model. However, a photo leaked by GSM Arena has revealed all the specifications of the upcoming Galaxy J7 Duo.

As per the leaked information, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo is expected to be powered by a 1.6-GHz octa-core processor with 4GB RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. It is also expected to sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution.

Talking about the camera department, the smartphone is expected to come with dual camera module on the rear panel with a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, the phone features an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash for selfies and video calling.

In terms of connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo will come with 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS support. It will be powered by a 3000mAh battery and will run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo flavor out of the box.

As per the listed manual of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo, the phone will feature dual SIM slots with an additional storage expansion slot for micro-SD card. In addition, it will come with Samsung Pay Mini and Bixby support. It may also come with a fingerprint scanner and face recognition feature.

Previously leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo had revealed the smartphone to feature an old Samsung design with a physical home key. The screen also features thick top and bottom bezels and thin bezels on the sides.

Since the smartphone has been listed on the official site, we can expect the launch to take place really soon. On the pricing front, the smartphone is expected to cost between Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000.
