Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is known to launch two smartphones in the same year. To recall, last year it had launched the OnePlus 5 followed by the OnePlus 5T later in the year. This year too, it is tipped to continue the same trend and launch another flagship device by the end of the year.
Over the last few weeks, several leaks and rumors have surfaced regarding the existence of a OnePlus 6T smartphone which is expected to be launched in November 2018. A new render of the alleged device has surfaced to reveal some of the specifications and design elements. The OnePlus 6T is expected to arrive with a popup selfie camera to eliminate the notch found on the front panel of the OnePlus 6.
The leaked render image of the OnePlus 6T smartphone reveals that it will feature a dual camera setup on the popup module probably to provide hardware-level bokeh effect to the users. The camera may also boast an enhanced Face Unlock feature. The render also shows that the display notch is absent on the front panel.
The leaked render also suggests that the OnePlus 6T will arrive with an in-display fingerprint sensor which will provide seamless smartphone unlocking. Notably, other prominent smartphone manufacturers like Vivo, Xiaomi and Huawei have already launched smartphones featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor and OnePlus is expected to follow suit with the OnePlus 6T flagship device.
The render also shows the presence of a triple rear camera module like the Huawei P20 Pro. Just like the Huawei P20 Pro, OnePlus is expected to incorporate a high megapixel primary sensor, a telephoto lens and a monochrome sensor to capture all the details of a particular image.
Apart from these features, the OnePlus 6T is also expected to offer wireless charging capabilities to its users. On the design front, the device is very similar to the OnePlus 6 except for the triple camera module on the back panel and the absence of the notch.
