At the ongoing Gamescom 2018 convention being held in Berlin Germany, Dell has introduced a new range of gaming monitors with high refresh rates up to 155Hz. The gaming monitors will be available in two configurations of 24-inch and 27-inch.
As per a report by Beebom, the 24-inch gaming monitor from Dell comes with a display resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels and has a refresh rate of 144Hz and a response time of 1ms. This implies that the gaming monitor comes with minimum input lag and provides high-resolution graphics along with a smooth transition rate. The new gaming monitors have been designed to provide an immersive gaming experience to the users.
The bigger 27-inch version of the new gaming monitors comes with a display resolution of 2560 X 1440 pixels. The 27-inch variant offers a higher refresh rate of 155Hz than the smaller variant. Both the gaming monitors feature the latest AMD FreeSync technology. The AMD FreeSync technology will help the users to setup up to three display profiles and also allow them to select the visual mode best suited for their needs. This will provide an immersive gaming experience to the users.
In terms of design, both the gaming monitors feature the Reacon-Blue metallic paint design. Dell is also providing the Premium Panel Exchange guarantee with both these monitors. Under this scheme, the users will get a free panel replacement if they can spot a single bright pixel on the display. However, the device needs to be in the warranty period to claim the replacement order.
On the pricing front, the 24-inch Dell gaming monitor comes with a price tag of $319.99 (Rs 22,260 approximately). The 27-inch gaming monitor, on the other hand, will be available at a price of $549.99 (Rs 38,261 approximately). Both the gaming monitors will be available in North America and the US beginning from August 28 and will be available for purchase from Dell’s official website.
