LG G7+ ThinQ with Snapdragon 845 and 6GB RAM to be Available in India for Rs 39,990

South Korean tech giant LG is all set to launch the LG G7+ ThinQ in India. The device will go on sale exclusively via Indian ecommerce major Flipkart from August 10 and will carry a price tag of Rs 39,990. The company has already started teasing the handset on Flipkart, which means it will be available as a Flipkart exclusive device.

The smartphone is reported to arrive with 6GB RAM and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845SoC and will compete against the OnePlus 6 and Asus ZenFone 5z which were launched earlier in the country.

To recall the specifications in detail, the LG G7 Plus ThinQ comes with a 6.1-inch IPS LCD display with a notch and offers a QHD+ resolution of 3120 X 1440 pixels. It also features Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage which is further upgradable with the help of a micro-SD card.

The smartphones also come with IP68 certification for water and dust resistivity and offer super loudspeaker setup with Hi-Fi Quad DAC technology for a better audio experience.

On the optics front, the smartphone features a dual camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture and another 16-megapixel wide angle lens with f/1.9 aperture. On the front, it features a 5-megapixel sensor for taking selfies which can also be used to record videos at 1080p resolution.

The LG G7+ ThinQ also uses AI features to enhance its camera capabilities. As a result, both the front and rear cameras can adapt to low light conditions very well. Additionally, the front camera also supports the Face Unlock feature which can also work in low light conditions.

The smartphone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery under the hood which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
