LG has launched the LG Q8 (2018) which is the successor to the original LG Q8 launched last year. The smartphone comes with a military grade build which is claimed to be based on MIL-STD 810G and is also IP68 certified for water and dust resistivity. The smartphone also features DTS:X 3D Surround sound and Hi-Fi Quad DAC technologies to render a better sound experience to the users. Apart from all these features, the LG Q8 92018) also comes with a stylus pen that will enable the users to take notes on the smartphone.
Coming to the price of the handset, the LG Q8 92018) carries a price tag of KRW 539,000 (Rs 32,900) approximately. The handset is set to go on sale in South Korea soon and will be available in two color options of Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue.
Talking about the specifications, the LG Q8 (2018) features a 6.2-inch full HD+ FullVision display with a resolution of 2160 X 1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450SoC coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. On the imaging front, the smartphone features a 16-megapixel sensor on the rear panel that is equipped with a PDAF sensor and accompanied by an LED flash. On the front, it features a 5-megapixel sensor with a 100-degree wide angle lens for taking selfies. The camera also features LG’s Q Lens feature which uses the built-in camera sensor to analyze a particular subject and then find information related to it from the internet.
The smartphone comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage space and in terms of connectivity, it features 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type-C port. It also boats a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. Fueled by a massive 3,300mAh battery under the hood that supports quick charging, the smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
