LG V40 ThinQ CAD Renders and 360 Degree Video Surface to Reveal Design Elements

South Korean tech giant LG is one of those brands that launch two flagship devices every year. While it has already launched the LG G7 earlier in the year, it launched a new V series device called the LG V35 in May. The LG V35 is a slight upgrade to yester year’s LG V30 flagship device. Now, the company is speculated to launch the LG V40 sometime soon.

The LG V40 ThinQ has been in the news due to a couple of leaked renders that had surfaced earlier, well-known leaker @OnLeaks has come up with a set of CAD drawings of the device. The tipster has also created a 360 video of the LG V40 ThinQ in association with SlashLeaks that shows the design elements of the device clearly.

The LG V40 ThinQ is expected to arrive with three cameras on the rear panel. The 360 video shows that the three cameras have been set up in a horizontal configuration at the center of the rear panel in a single housing. The LED flash has been placed towards the right side and the fingerprint sensor has been placed just beneath the camera module.

Coming to the front panel, the LG V40 ThinQ features a 6.3-inch display with a notch on the top similar to the LG G7. The notch is expected to house dual selfie cameras, taking the total camera count to five. Notably, the notch is not too deep or wide unlike other devices and LG has also provided a setting to disable the notch if you do not like it.

Apart from these elements, the LG V40 ThinQ also appears to sport a very thin bezel on the bottom panel. The renders also show the presence of a USB Type-C port, a speaker grill and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Regarding the launch date, the company is yet to make an announcement in this regard however it is expected that the LG V40 ThinQ will see the light of the day in September as the LG V30 was launched in September 2017.
