Reliance Jio GigaFiber Preview Offer to Come with 100GB Monthly data at 100Mbps Speed

Reliance Jio had announced its plans to enter the home broadband internet market through the Jio GigaFiber FTTH broadband service. While registration for the service has begun from August 15 as previously announced by the company, it is yet to reveal the plans and its prices.

The company had announced at the 41st AGM held last month that the Jio GigaFiber service will be initially rolled out in those areas where people show the maximum interest. Now it seems that the company will provide a special preview offer to the customers in the regions with maximum interest.

As per a report by TelecomTalk, Reliance Jio will provide a free GigaFiber preview offer with bundled data to customers in specific regions of the country. This offer is similar to the preview offer provided to early users of Jio 4G service back in 2016 when it was first launched. The company had then offered over six months of free data and unlimited calling benefits to its users.

As per the report, Jio GigaFiber preview offer is likely to come with 100GB of monthly data at 100Mbps download and upload speeds. It is said that the early users of the Jio GigaFiber service will get this preview offer for free up to three months. Once the monthly quota of 100GB is exhausted, users will get an additional 40GB of data on adding a top-up pack.

Earlier reports had claimed that the early users of Jio GigaFiber will get up to 1.1TB of data per month. It is expected that 100GB of data will be provided initially and the rest via top-ups.

In order to register for the Jio GigaFiber broadband internet service, the users can visit the official website of Reliance Jio or MyJio App. Over there, an option is provided to register for Jio GigaFiber. The user just needs to click on the link and fill in the credentials (name, shipping address, contact number). To get the service first, users can also recommend their friends and relatives to register for the service.
