2018 iPhone Models Case Covers and Images Leaked Ahead of Apple Event

While Apple is just a few hours away from launching its latest range of iPhone models at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino, California, some images of the 2018 iPhone models have been leaked online along with case covers that may be launched alongside the models today. The images leaked by various sources show the new models in full light and also shed some information about its specifications.

Coming to the 6.1-inch LCD variant first, its images have been leaked by Russian website Hi-tech.mail.ru and it shows the back panel of the device. As per the image, the 6.1-inch affordable iPhone may arrive in a Black color variant and it sports a single camera lens on the rear panel that is slightly larger in size than the ones currently available on iPhone models. The same website also spotted the iPhone XS briefly listed on the Apple website before being taken down. A screenshot of the listing shows that the device will be available from September 21 onwards. The listing also reveals that the 5.8-inch iPhone XS will cost around $899 (Rs 65,400 approximately).

Talking about the Apple iPhone XS model, live images have been leaked on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo and it looks similar to the current iPhone X. It features a display notch with a vertical dual camera setup on the rear panel. Notably, this iPhone is going to be the first model to arrive with a dual rear camera setup.

Apart from the images, another site by the name of Spigen has listed the cases for the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max just ahead of the official launch. These cases reveal that both the models will arrive with similar design elements as the iPhone X.

Apart from the three iPhone models, Apple is also expected to launch the Apple Watch Series 4 at the event scheduled for today. Additionally, it may also launch new iPad Pro models, an affordable MacBook variant and Airpods. The event will be live streamed on Apple website and also on Twitter. It will begin at 10:30 hrs PST.
