OnePlus 6T Fresh Leak Hints at Shady Grey Color Variant with Triple Rear Cameras

The OnePLus 6T is expected to get unveiled on October 17 and is set to become the latest flagship offering from Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus. While a recent report suggested that the upcoming flagship smartphone will arrive with an in-display fingerprint sensor, a fresh set of leaked renders now sheds some more light on the color variants and specifications.

According to the latest leak spotted by SlashGear, the OnePlus 6T is likely to arrive in at least two color variants. It has been confirmed that the OnePlus 6 will be available in grey and red color variants as of now.

The OnePlus 6T also comes with the same premium glass sandwich design found on the OnePlus 6. However, it does have some dissimilarity on the design front when compared to the OnePlus 6 to differentiate it from its predecessor.

Coming to the imaging front, OnePlus had introduced the dual rear camera setup for the first time on the OnePlus 5. While the current OnePLus 6 also featured the same setup on its rear panel, the OnePlus 6T is going to become the first device from the company to arrive with a triple rear camera module. The OnePlus 6T is likely to have a 12-megapixel primary sensor, 20-megapixel low light telephoto lens and a TOF 3D Stereo camera that will enable the device to capture images and videos in 3D format.

Apart from the camera module, OnePlus may also introduce the Qi-based wireless charging technology along with IP certification for water and dust resistivity to the OnePlus 6T. The device is also expected to feature the 3.5-mm headphone jack and may arrive with a smaller waterdrop notch design and a higher screen-to-body ratio than its predecessor, the OnePlus 6.

The OePlus 6T is likely to support Dash Charging that will charge the device from 0% to 100% in less than an hour. On the pricing front, the OnePlus 6T is expected to cost around Rs 34,999 in India.
