Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are going to become the latest smartphone offerings from Google this year. With the launch date scheduled for October 9, there is less than a month remaining for the announcement. Now, the company has teased the devices on its official online store. The official store now shows a new listing page with a huge ‘3’ on the official media invites distributed earlier this month.
The teaser page is now live on the official Google online store and it shows the text “Stay tuned! Looks like you’ve already enrolled for updates from the Google Store. Be on the lookout for some news from us on Oct. 9.” While there is no information whether the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will be rolled out together, it is expected that both will be announced on October 9. Notably, the revelation comes just after a couple of days after Apple launched its 2018 lineup of iPhone models and the Apple Watch Series 4. It seems Google is now getting ready to announce its lineup of devices for this year in less than a month’s time from now.
Over the past few weeks, we have seen several leaked renders of the alleged Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL to appear and some reports have also shed some light on the expected specifications of these handsets. Some reports have claimed that the upcoming iteration of Google Pixel devices will feature large displays with a notch on top. Notably, a unit of Google Pixel 3 XL was also recently spotted in a Lyft Cab that revealed a large display notch with thin bezels on the sides. Now, it remains to be seen, whether these reports turn out to be true and the Pixel 3 series of devices indeed come with a display notch feature.
