Apple iPad Pro 2018 Available for Pre-Orders in India; Launched Data also Revealed

Apple iPad Pro 2018 launch date in India has been revealed by two Apple premium device resellers. These resellers have also started pre-orders of the iPad Pro 2018 and have revealed that the device will go on sale in the country for the first time on Friday, November 16, 2018. It may be recalled that the 2018 models of the iPad Pro comes in two sizes of 11-inch and 12.9-inch and were launched at an event held in New York City on October 31.

Both the iPad Pro 11-inch and 12.9-inch models will be sold in multiple storage configurations of 64GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The 11-inch model of the iPad Pro has a starting price of Rs 71,900 while the 12.9-inch model comes with a price tag of Rs 89,900. The second generation Apple Pencil has been priced at Rs 10,900. In addition to these, a smart folio case has been priced at Rs 7,500 and Rs 9,900 for the 11-inch and 12.9-inch models respectively.

Both the models of the Apple iPad Pro 2018 are now available for preorders on Maple Store and Unicorn Store. While Maple Store is taking online pre-orders of the device, Unicorn Store is offering offline preorders. Maple Store is also providing launch offers like 5% cashback on EMIs using Citi Bank and Axis Bank Buzz credit cards. There are also no-cost EMI options available from Bajaj Finserv.

Coming to the specifications, the Apple iPad Pro 2018 models feature an 11-inch or 12.9-inch LCD ProMotion Liquid Retina display with 120Hz refresh rates. Both the models are powered by the latest in-house A12X Bionic chips. The SoC has an 8-core CPU and a 7-core GPU with the latter providing up to 2x the graphical performance of its predecessors.

The iPad Pro models are also equipped with Apple FaceID enabled by a TrueDepth camera housed on the front bezel of the device. FaceID also brings supports for Anomoji and Memoji and the devices are also equipped with advanced iPhone-X like gesture navigation system.
