It’s a Germany based company and has entered India a few years ago. It has launched a smartwatch enabled with inbuilt 3-axis compass and barometric altimeter with GPS support along with GLONASS and Galileo attachments which help to withstand a more rugged environment. It has a wrist-based heart rate monitor too. It’s being marketed as a “lifestyle watch” for people. The design is rugged and due to the reliability factor of the company. Ali Rizvi who is the National Sales Manager of Garmin has said, “We are excited to introduce Instinct as India’s first ‘lifestyle watch’ for the people who wish to have an approachable smartwatch that is rugged and reliable,” It has many modes like running, cycling, swimming, climbing, skiing, rowing, weightlifting, and yoga. This smartwatch is wholly built upon US military standard. 810G graded material is used in manufacturing this watch thus making it water and thermal resistant and it’s also shockproof to some extents. It can be easily used with the phone. It has an amazing feature called group track feature that can also track the fitness level of your friends using the same device.
